    Thank you so so much, Tantric and rodries and all the other people who contributed to this. I don’t own a DVD player, and before this came out, I was relying on MPlayer CE to play DVDs for my younger sister and myself. It was subject to frequent crashes and random issues when playing media files and DVDs alike.

    After installing IOS 202 and the WiiMC channel, this stuff has gotten so much easier and reliable, and can only get better from here on forward.

    loving this is to easy….
    it’s F-in amazing!
    I liked mplayerCE already,
    but WiiMC is SO cool!
    thanks team for making my Wii a whole lot better.
    and it’s only a 1.0 version

    I love it too!! ^^ MplayerCE used to be the only media player for me. Alas, ever since WiiMC came out, I haven’t booted it up (bar one or two occasions 😆 ). Now i only keep MplayerCE as a last resort backup. Thank you Tantric and Rodries!!! Thank you so much!

    Yeah. it’s easy to use it.and SMB setting is simple

    I was in the same boat as you guys. MPlayerCE sucks compared to WiiMC. The UI is way better and like you said no crashes or other weird problems. I use my Wii to play all my dvds and all my movies on that I have on external HD.

    I concur! It’s the first Wii media player I’ve found that displays subtitles correctly!

    Excellent program, forget VLC on the PC, go WIIMC. As well, those green checkmarks help keep track of what you have viewed. Tell me any other player that can do that. Way to go WiiMC!
