Would it be possible to have an option to disable the IR/Pointer? I do not use the pointer to navigate, and instead use the d-pad. However the problem is sometimes the pointer jumps because of ambient light and causes the wrong title to be selected.

Though this is rare, it is preventable by having this as an option.
