I had not been able to get very far with the last couple of versions – neither 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 were able to play my mp4 collection via wifi/smb, so I was quick to check out the 1.0.7 version.

So far I’ve been able to playback everything that was working before – possibly a bit more reliably, but this is a little difficult to be sure of. Will certainly try out the extended usb support eventually.

One problem for me – the Channel Installer v.1.3 is just bombing out when I use this method to run the WiiMC programme. I have no problem running from the homebrew menu, but having uninstalled the old channel install and then run the new install. When I click the start button all that it manages to do is force a restart of my wii. Any ideas why this may be?
