    Hi All,

Sorry if this question has already been posted before. I would expect to have but, after searching the forum, I can’t find it.

I am currently using v 1.0.6 and it’s working wonderfully for me. I don’t want to upgrade to the latest version of wiimc because I would have to install IOS58, and I don’t like to mess around with IOSes if I can avoid it. Every time I start wiimc with the network connected it brings up a message asking me if I want to update. It’s annoying having to click “no” every single time the program opens. Is there any way to stop this message from coming up?

Until we have an option in the soft that is what i did:

    – Open boot.dol with a hexadecimal editor (or with Programmer’s Notepad it works too)
    – Search the string “http://wiimc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/update.xml”
    – Modify it by keeping the same length (just change one character is enough)
    for example : “http://wiimc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/noupdt.xml”.

I think it doesn’t break anything and it worked for me.
