    Hey

I got on your guyes Irc to find it was dead.

But I got wiimc to see my drive after working for a while and I went to play some videos and they laged super bad.

so I used any video converter with the wii setting to make them a file to play.
Well they work fine, but the problem is they are one gig. each. the orginal files play with lots of lag.

I have also tryed video files from my i-touch they are also slow.

Can some one tell me what is a good video converter format setting to useto have small video sizes and proper play back?

I kind of want to toss my hard dive out at the moment, I also need this to work for a frend of mine aswell.

not I do not have hd video I’m trying to get Full metal alchemst to play this is the video setting (1280×720 h264)

I rahter have 480p is that posible?
we are useing ntfs hard drives,
also sorry about my english, i just fail

Use VLC-Shares as posted at the top of these forums to convert those HD videos to MPEG2 on the fly using VLC.

Or convert them to a format that plays well. I recommend DivX.

how do i convert to divex?

what do I use? I’ve been told this all day and night and no one will tell my the flipping program.

I’m just very fustrated. at this. I understand the wii is no power house, but when I can not get something to work to watch video,

after a few googles I found this divx porgram.

also is there a way I could turn subs off?

I have a English dubed animie and for some reason it has english dubs

what settings do I use? it would help if I knew

    Also,
Why would I want to stream my videos, when I have a hard drive on my wii? Does the wii not have b wireless? so it would be at 11mb per second if I am lucky
