I have a question that hopefully someone can answer.

I have a total of 14 shared folders/drives on my home network.
Most of them are for file storage. Movies, TV shows, etc.
I was able to add 9 of these shares to the network in WiiMC,
But after trying to add the rest it seems that it just does not want to do any more.
A couple of them I was not going to add, as they relate to my ftp server and apache server.
But the 3 remaining shares I was wanting to add to the WiiMC network are on a pc that connects wirelessly to my home network.

So basically, I have 2 questions:
    A. Is there a max number of shares you can have in WiiMC?
    B. Does the pc that hosts the shares have to be hard wired to the network?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this for me!

Ok, I solved one question myself, but in turn created another!

I removed one share and then added one that is hosted on the pc that connects to my network wirelessly.
So I am inclined to believe that there is a max number of shares that you can have in WiiMC.
But I discovered that you can use a share hosted from a wireless machine.

Is there a way to increase the number of allowed shares,
And is there a way to arrange the order that they are listed in the menu in WiiMC?

    Thanks for your reply!
Is there a way to change the SMB# manually?

You mean to reorder them? Just open the XML and change the numbers

I apologize for being such a noob, but how do I do that?

    put sd card in pc
    edit setting.xml with wordpad
    find smb entries

    change numbers
    save
put sd card back in wii
