First off, I believe this is a Windows Media Player problem and not a WiiMC problem, but I was hoping someone could help me figure out what the problem is.

My “My Music” folder on my computer is shared and WiiMC accesses it just fine. If I put an album folder in My Music and then go to my wii there are no problems. However, if I open Windows Media Player and and the album gets added (automatically) to the library, the album folder will not show up on WiiMC. The only way I can temporarily fix this is create a new folder, move the album music to it, delete the old folder and rename the new folder the exact same filename. However, if Windows Media Player decides to update the album info for whatever reason, it will disappear from WiiMC again.

Is there some setting in Media Player that I need to change/disable? I have almost gotten to the point of trying a new media player program since I use WiiMC quite frequently. If anyone has ideas, it would save a lot of frustration.

WiiMC is absolutely amazing and I consider it to be one of the best reasons to own a Wii. Great job Tantric, rodries and anyone else involved.

If I can’t get this figured out does anyone have suggestions for a good media player for my computer besides ITunes?
