Crashing at startup

    Hi there, I recently installed the IOS58, updated the homebrew channel, and then got the latest WiiMC 1.1.1 Everything was going great! I could watch dvd ISO’s and other movie and audio files from my USB hard drive without issues. Then I tried to watch a movie what was an mp4. It seemed to be really laggy – the video/audio was out of sync, and then the program froze up. Now whenever I start wiimc it crashes within 10 seconds of startup. I tried to load it without the USB drive plugged in and it still freezes. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Because it is an AVC file with width > 640.

    Ok that would make sense. Why is it still crashing when I’m not even trying to watch that video? or when I just want to load the program without any drive connected?

    Try removing the no_ios_reload line from meta.xml and report back.

    Thank you Tantric, I did as you asked and it seems to have fixed the problem!
