Is there any chance of supporting USB devices formatted with a GUID partition table?

I use one drive with two partitions: One formatted MacOS Extended for Time Machine on my Mac, and one formatted FAT32 for media files. It must be partitioned using a GUID scheme (for Time Machine to function) but WiiMC seems to not play nice with GUID – it will list the contents of the disk but crashes every time I try to open a movie.
