    I was running IOS61 with WiiMC fine but I wanted to use the channel installer which needed IOS58. I installed IOS58 successfully and the channel installer successfully and the latest HackMII HBC which I believe is 0.8. Now when I run WIIMC either by the installer or HBC, I can manually search youtube videos fine, but every shoutcast search give me a no results found error. When I try to use the genre, I get a buffering and then a “error loading file”. I also tryed different WIIMC versions like 1.1.6 and 1.1.9 and they do the same. I don’t wish to downgrade back to IOS61 fearing errors and problems so I’m kind of stuck unless someone has ideas.

    I don’t see how the IOS is related to SHOUTcast problems…

    Understood, but are there known fixes for youtube video searches working and shoutcast searches not? As a test, I tryed searching with WiiRadio and it worked. I don’t wish to use that one as I have always disliked the interface.

    Go figure.. I wait 24 hours, try again, and it works. My kind of fix. :mrgreen:

    Note that Shoutcast/YouTube support is hosted on wiimc.org. So if the website is down, so will be Shoutcast/YouTube. So perhaps that’s what happened.
