For anyone interested: I’ve made a script so it is possible to browse TorrentButler using WiiMC. Torrentbutler is the most comfortable way to look for movies you want to watch. And now it is available for WiiMC.
You can try the script by adding the following line to your onlinemedia.xml:
Current features:
* Browse movies by popularity, genre, director or actor.
* Search movietitle
* Watch trailers
* Download SD or HD torrent
I can share the code if anyone’s interested. Currently it is only communicating with Transmission bittorrent client on my PC. I’m thinking about moving it to uTorrent though.
I’ve now released Movies+, an add-on for WIIMC+, that extends gorgel’s work and adds significant new function including a text description of each movie, the ability to find more YT trailers, and the download of subtitles as well as movies. I’ll post some screens in the WIIMC+ section when I get time. All current WIIMC+ users will receive this automatically.
