    Playback doesn’t seem to be clean or sharp no matter the format. Is this because of the Wii’s Processing power or is that just the way WiiMC handles video formats?

    Are you using a component video cable? If not, that’s your problem.

    Composite cables but i think the movies could still look as sharp as the games and program graphics which are still pretty sharp in 480i with plasma display. Could sharpness be added to video settings?

    If you want better video quality, go pick up a component cable. The difference is quite significant.

    Ok, but now i have a problem playing some of my MKV formats, when i select them it will show a pixelated screen then return to playlist screen, these are its specs:
