Hi,
i have router Asus 500gp
http://www.asus.com/Networks/WiFi_Networking/WL500g_Premium/
with Oleg firmware (linux based)

I have 2TB HDD with movie files, connected by USB to this router, there is Samba for share files. Sharing is working for my 2 notebooks, 2 PCs with Windows.
But Samba its not working for my WII with WIIMC 🙁
FTP conection is working (but i cannot use it, because its only play movie without subtitles in txt file)
When i did try connect WIIMC to my notebook with shared movie folder by Samba, everything is working fine, include subtitles.
There is also no log on Asus router when i did try connect WIIMC by Samba conection (its weird, because there is all the time information about bad connection when i try use wrong shared folder name from my notebook …. )
Any idea what to do? (i did spend around 6 hours to figure what is wrong, but no luck 🙁 )

EDIT : i did flash original Asus firmware back and its working (with disc on FAT).
So it seems like Samba problem in Oleg firmware, but i realy dont know why its working for WIn PCs … 🙁
HDD which i’m using with Oleg firmware is EXT3 format.
every idea what to do is welcome.
