can’t change password in network

have a problem. can’t change password in Network, smb.
when I try it shows the one there is set from start. i se this …….

smb sharing Works fine on XBMC devices and on my Xbox one.

have and w7 htpc that stores my media stof.
please help

I simply do not understand this.
why is there a password to start with?
Where do wiimc save the password?
why can’t i change it!

wrote code directly in XML file. and now I have working smd sharing.
still shows the …….. as code in wiimc.
but I don’t care.

not my real code: here is what i have changed.
in
(settings.xml)

before 4.2e with

but no code.

so do not understand why.
