I hava a problem by conneting my WiiMC with my NAS. I alway get the message “Failed to connect to network share”. I could connect with two different computers without problems, but not the Wii. I try so many properties, e.g.:
Display Name: nas (or an other name)
Share IP: 192.168.178.88 (fix IP of my nas)
Share Name: video (is an folder of the nas, only lower-case)
Username: steffi (admin on nas and owner of the folder “video”)
Password: ***
I try different folders, different names, different user with different rights on the nas… nothing works. Why?
At my Fritzbox (router) I can see, that the Wii and the NAS are online. And I try Online Media in WiiMC, it works.
My version of WiiMC is 1.3.1
I would be happy, if somebody could help me. Thanks a lot.
