Crackling audio since version 1.0.3

I dont know if its just me,
but since i updated from 1.0.2 there’s crackling sounds when there is a high sound in a movie. (gun shots, explosions e.t.c)

I was watching war of the worlds with 1.0.3 and the crackling sound was there, so i put 1.0.1 back on the wii and the film played fine. i left version 1.0.1 on the wii until the 1.0.4 update and after watching an action film recently the crackling was back. I hope there is a solution to my problem as i love the new updates to the software and dont want to roll back just beacuse of this. Thank you

It only seems to happen when im playing high quality movies (480p Brrip’s for instance)
which look awesome by the way 😀

is there a way i could take an earlier versions sound settings and merge them with the latest version?
i think it could be the stereo downmixing that has caused this, but im no coder! 😆
