Why is it that you can not delete WiiMC from the SD card after the channel is installed? I have seen this same behavior for other channels. Do the channels use the app from the card in order to run the program? Is there any way to get around this?
I don’t see the positive in that you want to delete the software from the SD card, when a “channel” is installed !?
What’s the reason for wanting to do that?
It’s not like it take up a BIG amount of space.
It’s like on a PC, when you install a software there, an icon is installed on the desktop, it’s just a shortcut, if you delete the software installed, the shortcut stops working.
Actually I see it differently then that. I see the installer on the SD card as an installation file, and I see the channel on the menu as the shortcut path. I guess the Wii works differently but, I like to delete installers after a program is installed.
