Hi

I have an issue.

I have wiimc. It works fine (smb/ftp/dvd etc) with homebrew channeland as a channel from system menu.

I’ve loaded it up through usbloadergx homebrew channel option and get the following message

“error the current ios is unsupported. functionality and/ or stability may be adversely affected”

Which is strange as I don’t get the above message when I try the wimmc channel/homebrew channel methods.

The functionality is the same despite the error message.

Just would like to make sense of it all.

That message happens when WiiMC is not loaded from IOS 58 or IOS 61. As we haven’t tested any others except these two, that’s the reason for the warning. Otherwise we get bug reports from people running IOS X and we’ll have no idea if it’s a WiiMC issue or an IOS issue.

the thread maybe a bit outdated, but still valid.
Having the same issue. WMC runs fine when started via HBC or Channel. If I activate autostart of WiiMC in Priiloader I get the “unsupported IOS” message. However, so far I could not discover any disfunctionality.

Any way to disable this annoying message?

I Think the main thing that happens is you lose ABPROT mode, Witch is needed for dvd access.
you also need a line in our meta.xml for no ios reload.

If you upgrade priiloader to the latest beta, the message will go away.
