Favorite Songs (Rating)

I’d love to see WiiMC have a feature to indicate that I like a particular song that is playing. Then in the playlist screen have an option to play all of the favorites randomly.

Keeping track of all songs in the library and their state would be unfeasible since we don’t have a database available to us. But maybe we can keep track of the top 100 or 500 songs (the number is arbitrary)

The enhanced version (WiiMC+v5) should have a way to edit playlists, so we’re almost there. There would be a MyFavorites playlist, and when you click the favorite button on the music control toolbar, the song is added into that playlist.

Once you can save and load WIIMC playlists, this is easy..Load the MyFavorites playlist, delete songs on the playlist, or add new songs you like as they are played by ckecking the boxes and save then save the playlist. Reload it and select the shuffle mode whenever you want to play them.
