[FIXED] Subtitle cropped followed by a crash dump..

Hello,
Finally I got a new TV with 16:9 😀

But when I set for it, WiiMC crops the subtitle and seconds later crash.

Notes:
-If I change back to 4:3, its plays normal
-If I disable the subtitle, its plays normal

So 16:9 + Subtitle = crash for me.

Any help?

Did you setup the WII for 16:9 and Progressive. Do that and set WIIMC video option to auto, and it will work fine.

Test 1:
Turn on the Wii, show configs, play video, plays fine, but subtitle is cropped…

Same configs, but now I turn on Wii w/o an USB HDD plugged

I can make a test like “Test2” but playing a video w/o subtitle too if need.

OBS: WiiMC aspect option is set to Auto

Hi, good news
The cropping thing was only about my TV autofit options.
So if it happens to you.. check for it
WiiMC don’t crop anything 🙂

The crash problem I thing is the same of http://www.wiimc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1504 Topic.
If I leave an HDD plugged, its plays w/o crash.
