    WiiMC version – 1.1.8
    Wii – 4.3u
    Homebrew Channel – 1.0.8
    IOS61 v22.30

    I have tried lots of DVD’s in the wii DVD drive and get this same result. I load the DVD in the drive, Load WiiMC, Click the DVD icon and get the following error –

    Error
    Unrecognized DVD format!

    Is this because I have the wrong IOS version?
    Everything else works with the WiiMC such as youtube and the streaming music.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Read the forums. New WII’s do not play DVD’s.
