Megaupload/Megavideo x2 sale

Hi, I just thought I let those who don’t know that Megaupload is having a x2 new years sale.
On the sale you get 2 months, 6 months, 2 years, and 4 years for the price you would normally pay for 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, and 2 years respectively. I would like to do it, but cannot swing it right now. Here is the link: http://www.megaupload.com/?c=premium I am in no way affiliated with the site. It would just be nice with the icefilms plugin. However, I have heard that icefilms will soon not be using megaupload, and further that megaupload will be going legit (hosting no copyrighten materials) due to legal threats. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this claim?

I am a bit wary of the situation myself with Megaupload. I did a 4 year renewal split with friends so it was cheap. I do not believe as of yet that Megaupload is going to go legit because they would lose most of their customer base. Also, they are located in Hong Kong I think so they really don’t have to fight copyright laws etc.

Thanks for weighing in on the fate of Megavideo. I really hope you are right, I use Icefilms all of the time and really like it. Thanks.
