    I’ve been trying to get my girlfriend’s folders shared on my Wii. I have a TV and a MOVIES folder, and so does she with the same names. While my SMBs work just fine, I can’t get hers to work. Is there some sort of problem with having folders of the same name, or is my problem elsewhere?

    as long as the folder name/ ip address/ username/ password is correct it should work.
    I believe you are having a network security settings issue.
    here is a place that may be able to help you setup your shares properly
