Need Help WiiMC 1.1.8 USB HDD Not detected!

Hi, i just installed wiimc 1.1.8 and now every time i try to load WiiMc once its loaded it shows me an error message saying something like this: “Error Could not find a valid SD or USB device, one is required for normal use”.

I use to have Wiimc 1.0 or 1.1.2 and i wasn’t getting that problem until i decided to update, i did it through WiiMc and also with the new install zip file and I’m still getting the same error. Right now the only way for me to load WiiMC is to load WiiExplorer first and then load WiiMC through there.

Oh and btw i have IOS 58 installed, WiiExplorer is running on IOS58 and my HBC has always ran with IOS61 since the begining so unless something got change i don’t see why the ios thing should be a problem.

Do you have IOS58 installed? If not, use the IOS58 Installer. Is HBC using IOS58? If not, reinstall it. Finally, check that WiiMC is using IOS58. If WiiMC is using IOS58, then your device is unsupported. Please note that this does not indicate a WiiMC bug. This is not a limitation of WiiMC, but rather the library it uses, libogc.

You must install IOS58 in Homebrew Channel.
