Until recently, I have been using a Belkin wifi USB adapter on my desktop to access my network. I had no problems using this with WiiMC, all my media was available and worked properly.
Due to other issues with the adapter, I purchased a D-Link Wireless N Nano USB adapter (DWA-131). I updated the ip addresses in WiiMC, and the file system loads, but when I try to play a media file, WiiMC gives the loading screen for a long time, and if it does eventually load the file, it crashes quickly.
I am using WiiMC version 1.3.0. I attempted to update the drivers for the USB adapter but was told that they are up to date. I am running windows 7.
I have set up static IP and the shares according to the tutorial thread.
If there’s any important info I’ve left out let me know. If you have any advice, I’d me very grateful.
