OSD obstructs DVD menu

Hello.

I just downloaded the latest and greatest version of WiiMC (which is, indeed, great) and I’m loving it.
However, when playing a DVD, I can’t select items from the DVD’s menu screen because they are at the bottom of the screen. When I point to the TV, the OSD shows up and obstructs the DVD’s menu, so my clicks don’t do anything.

Is there a way around this?

This may not be an actual issue, upon further examination.
It happen when I stream a DVD over the network. I think WiiMC treats it like any other strean and does not provide menu funcionality, probably by design. When loading the DVD from a USB drive, it does not show a position bar overlay.

Yes it’s by design. DVD menu support uses dvdnav, and dvdnav over SMB doesn’t buffer enough to be usable. So it’s disabled.
