parental control via settings

Having just discovered WiiMC after my kiss player died two days ago I am so happy not to have to go out and spend £100 to replace it so big thanks to the developers.
There is just one thing I would like to be able to control via the settings and that is what folders can be viewed.
My idea would be for this to be available in the settings as a copy of the available tree structure with a tick / blank selection which would translate as those ticked are folders visible to all and vice versa.
Then on loading wiimc clicking on the logo or a new button would allow for a passcode / password to be entered which would show all content. even better than entering a passcode would be a user configurable series of button presses.
The obvious benefit of this is I could then leave my children alone with wiimc knowing they would not be able to view content I didnt want them to
