    Hello guys,

First of all, sorry my poor english… My main language is portuguese…

Well, I try to use .pls and .m3u playlist files to play mp3 music in my external hard drive but an error message (Eror loading playlist!) was reported. Anyone know anything about that?

ps.: thanks to the development team for this amazing homebrew!

I’m having the same problem, my external playlists just won’t load. My music is in an Itunes folder on a NAS box, and I’m connecting via SMB. I’ve tried m3u and pls, and within the playlist I’ve tried absolute and relative paths, forward slashes and backslashes, including the drive name and not including the drive name, and also tried placing the playlist closer to the music (i.e. in the immediate parent directory) and still “Error loading playlist!” These playlists work fine everywhere else (MediaPlayer CE on the Wii, xbmc on an xbox, and every program I’ve tried in Windows. It’s just WIIMC that has this problem.

    Any ideas?

I’ve been having problems in 1.0.9 getting it to play locally stored .pls files to stream internet radio stations. Did something change within the last two or three versions to disallow playing from .pls & .m3u playlists?

    See here:

Since absolute or relative paths aren’t supported (even though http links inside of playlists do work), I’ve disabled the playlist support from the music area.

Are all playlists in any format now hidden ? All my music is on my XP Samba share and I am just wanting to be able to create a playlist I can save and use in the future. Cant seem to find anything on this other thatn Nav and I am not looking to post my playlists just yet. Is there some sort of workaround that I am missing .
