Problem playing subtitle when use FTP share

Hello,

Is there special settings for subtitle when play video over FTP ?

I use FTP server for myshare – wiiMC connect to it without problem but when I play video there is no subtitle! Is’t normal ?

This has been reported for many versions yet no one has posted it as a bug in the tracker under the development tab above. Post the names of the movie file and the subtitle file you are using and attach the subtitle file and a 7 meg snip from the front of the movie file in the tracker so this can be fixed. Use “Partcopy” http://www.virtualobjectives.com.au/utilitiesprogs/partcopy.htm to get the snip.

thanks for replying jhb50 but the problem appears on every movie that I start via FTP server, so there is no need to upload movie and str file so developer or tester only must start one movie with str file from FTP server to see the problem.

Perhaps that is your problem. Subtitles are not str files.
