It will be a usefull features like in Mplayer CE
If you are referring to video/audio and codec properties of a video file, I personally use g-spot for this. I think its a good idea to keep the program to a minimum due to space limitations of the wii and what it can use as storage.
Actually it is a simple mod to the MPLAYER Code to return the Video Specs..codec..bitrate…size and optionally display it before playing the file.
