    Hi

    Apologies for this question, I am new to WiiMC.

    I have installed the latest version (1.2.0) and everything is working. I set up a test network connection using a folder called ‘test’ which was on the root of my PCs hard drive. I made it shared to everyone entered the settings and hey presto it worked and I could see the test image.

    I then tried to connect the ‘My Pictures’ folder which holds all my pictures and sits in Users/My Name/My Pictures

    I made ‘My Pictures’ shared with the share name of ‘Pictures’ and amended the WiiMC network settings by putting the name ‘Pictures’ in but no joy. I tried to share the Users folder but the system (WIndows 7) didn’t allow me to do this.

    Could someone throw some light on where I am going wrong please as I’m not sure if I need to enter a path in the WiiMC settings or alter something on my PC.

    All sorted now – found this excellent guide

    I was forgetting to click on the ‘Advanced Share’ button.
