I was wondering if exists a way to specify a subtitle to a online stream? tvalacarta (http://blog.tvalacarta.info/) has developed greats python scripts to watch online media, but we are not guessing the way to pass a subtitle with the playlist to wiimc.

The same problem here.. the feature needed is already implemented in others MC like XBMC.
In the meantime, maybe you can add an option to load the sub manually to an online stream.
