Subtitles offscreen

Hi,

I’ve been using WiiMC for a couple of months without too many problems.

Three days ago I started watching avi movies with srt subtitles, but they were almost unreadable because half of the lower row was offscreen.

The only way I found to read them was to change their size to > 4.0, thus making them just too big.
I looked for an option to move the subtitles, but there was none.

Note: it didn’t happen with every movie, just with some of them.
I just have no clue, because srt files have no way to impose they position on screen.

Could you please point me toward a solution?

I’d guess the aspect ratio you are using does not match that of the movie. You can also use settings to change the output size of the picture if it is larger than the physical screen.
