I installed the 0.5.5 alpha on Windows XP and got a message that I must use Zend Framework 1.10.6. It seems the version of Zend that is packaged in the installer is corrupt or not installing correctly. I unintalled all vlc-shares 0.5.5 alpha and reverted back to 0.5.4 with no issues.
December 7, 2011 at 8:03 am #29696zany130ParticipantYou just need to copy the VLCShares/php_include_path/Zend folder inside VLCShares/vlc-shares/library. Thanks for the feedback. This is what i need
December 7, 2011 at 9:58 am #29697zany130ParticipantTo fix this problem, after installation completed:
- Shutdown EASYPHP
- Open folder:
C:Programs filesVLCSharesconf_files
- Unzip the attachment of this post inside your desktop folder (it’s one file only)
- Replace httpd.conf file with the extracted in the previous step
- Restart EASYPHP
Waiting for feedback
December 8, 2011 at 12:08 am #29695lokiMidgardParticipant-copying the zend folder to the library seems to have worked correctly.
-using the downloaded httpd.conf file did not fix the issue until I copied the zend folder to library.I will try to reinstall plugins and will let you know if any more issues arise.
December 8, 2011 at 12:36 am #29698lokiMidgardParticipantOK I was wrong. As soon as I configured the plugins, etc and clicked save- I got “Object not found” message on the browser. I uninstalled everything and deleted vlc-shares folder, i reinstalled 0.5.4, then I installed 0.5.5 on top of it, installed plugins, and voila! no issues so far……

Now that you mention it, 0.5.5 does not have the plugin installer for TV-links. Bummer
December 8, 2011 at 4:33 pm #29701zany130ParticipantI just have to change a number in the plugin. It will be supported.
If you have some webkit based device, please try the new Webkit Renderer
