WiiMC Channel installs but doesn’t work.

Hi I just installed the WiiMC Channel on my Wii.

It shows up and looks good, but when I click on it, it goes to the loading screen ( dark screen with little Wii boxes) then just goes back to my channel display.

That’s all she wrote. Can’t get inside the actual program at all.

I checked the version of the IOS and everything, it’s all up to date.

Any suggestions on what else to try or why this isn’t working?

The channel is just a channel and not WiiMC itself. You need to copy WiiMC onto an SD card or USB stick and then when you load the channel, it would load it from there.

So there’s no way to put WiiMC actually on my Wii? The actual running program needs to be on a SD card to work?

yes IT has to be on SD or USB like any other hombrew app on wii. You cant install any hombrew app on Wii system memory.
