WIIMC crashes

    Hi I’m a newbee with homebrew.
    I installed wiimc, and it seemed to work fine.
    I have a USB harddisk connected to my wii with music and videofiles.
    Music files play fine. Small videofiles ’10 min’ play fine.
    A large videofile (a homevideo of +/- 30min) starts ok, but crashes after a few moments (about 1 minute).
    If I start Wiimc again, the file is indicated with a green sign.
    If I tried to start it again, it began to run but I noticed sound was not smoothly, and after a short time the movie crashed again.

    What could be the problem, how could I fix it ?

    Depends on the video codec used. If it is an HD AVC file wider than 640 pixels and bit rate over 4000kbps, it is beyond the ability of the WII to play it. Use MediaInfo to get the specs of the file.
