I’d say the problem will take quite a while to fix. I don’t know anything about the codes they have to put into Wiimc but I do know that VLC Media Player lets you play ISO files and select from the menus on the computer. But it looks like whatever makes VLC work on ISO files could be used in this? I really don’t know about this stuff lol I’d like to know if its at least possible or not. Otherwise I might buy one of those WD HD TV boxes for playing ISOs on tv.
almonaciloParticipantI think this would be a good idea. I could add to it and say that it would be nice to have a list somewhere on the screen that shows the different subtitles available after you press the subtitles button and lets you select the one you want to use. Same would go good with the language part. It could have director’s commentary, spanish, english, French etc. whenever you push the change language button.
almonaciloParticipantIts a good idea tantric… its a good idea lol 😀
almonaciloParticipant@Tantric looking forward to the next release! 😆
almonaciloParticipant@Tantric So it will play the dvd ISO file through a USB 2.0 hard drive? Thats what I was wanting, just something to play dvds off of a hard drive. I don’t have internet connection on my wii so streaming like netflix doesn’t matter to me lol Does external drive need to be in FAT32?
almonaciloParticipant@Tantric So do you think WiiMC will ever be able to play ISO format well? Just want to know if I should get started on changing formats
almonaciloParticipantyeah same here. I don’t really care about the disc image. DVD covers and possibly CD albums covers would be great though
almonaciloParticipantIf it doesn’t already support ISO files then I agree. Most dvds are in ISO format.
