That like doesn’t work in windows either but if you drop the h then it plays in winamp. So try in wiimc w/o the h
cadbuscaParticipantThis would take too much time because every folder would have to be opened to check before it could be listed.
cadbuscaParticipantLeave the subs visible (not hidden) so wiimc will display them and turn off “autoload subtitles” in MPC so it won’t.
cadbuscaParticipantThe playlist you are loading is in plx format.
For WIIMC to parse a plx playlist, the url it must either have a plx extension or no extension.
However the playlist you are loading is also loaded by the Navi Portal link
<link name="Navi Portal" type="playlist" addr="http://navix.turner3d.net/wiilist/index.plx" />
so you may use the onlinemedia.xml entry already provided.cadbuscaParticipantI too wanted this. That’s why I modified my WIIMC to be able to save and load any playlist under a name of my choosing.
cadbuscaParticipantMy recollection is that if the restore_points file cannot be read for any reason, that WIIMC will create a new blank file. That’s one of the reasons I modified my WIIMC to maintain a restore_points backup and replace that overwrite with a warning message that the file could not be found. I get this periodically but I have not been able to trace down why it happens, but at least I can now restore from the backup.
cadbuscaParticipantThat is not correct. Any movie watched for more than 8 seconds will have a green tick mark.
I too wanted more control so I also modified my WIIMC to show a red tick mark if the movie was totally watched, add an option to delete a movie from WIIMC after being totally watched, preserve the tick marks if the file is moved to another directory, and allow up to 500 files to be tracked.
cadbuscaParticipantCannot be done. Wii is not powerful enough. Must do this on PC using VLC-Shares. Read the forum.
cadbuscaParticipantIf you read the forum first, you would know that Nintendo changed the drive so it could not be used to play DVD’s.
August 28, 2011 at 12:33 pm in reply to: "DVD Playback is not supported on this Wii" ERROR with 1.1.9 #29408cadbuscaParticipantlike his or the same? post what you got.
cadbuscaParticipantYes. Read the forum.
cadbuscaParticipant.mkv files play fine so long as they are not HD. Wii is not powerful enough to play HD files
cadbuscaParticipantIf it worked on 1.1.8, Read the previous thread and run the test. Otherwise you have a newer WII and it will never work.
cadbuscaParticipantwhich said ….Note Effective from SVN762 additional libraries must be installed as documented in the official compile guide.
cadbuscaParticipantFollow the instructions: http://www.wiimc.org/compiling-instructions/
