This has been explained many times. Any video over 640 wide and in particular h264 will start to demand more resource to decode than the wii can offer thereby slowing the video while the audio plays normally and the sync will get progressively worse. Some videos up to 854 wide will play OK but beyond that width they all seem to slow down.
cadbuscaParticipant“Read about it here”
cadbuscaParticipantSo I take it that 1.2.8 is using changes to libogc that have not yet been incorporated in Devkitpro, but the libogc released with DKP R26 works fine and does not create the SMB problem.
cadbuscaParticipantWe are? I’ve been running on 1054 aka 1.2.8 for weeks now and have had no crashes or SMB problems. Want to be a bit more explicit as to why we should downgrade?
cadbuscaParticipantRead thru tese navi threads. probably need a processor
cadbuscaParticipantGreat. Yes WIIMC only looks to apps/WIIMC for its associated files and WIIMC+ is modded to only look to apps/WIIMC-PLUS or optionally smb1/WIIMC-PLUS for its associated files, although the dol can be booted from any apps/ folder.
That’s what makes WIIMC and WIIMC+ coexistance possible and the coexistance of multiple wiimc+ boot.dol’s with different iconsin multiple apps folders for Jukebox+, all using the same WIIMC+ files.cadbuscaParticipantYes, the AutoPlayNextVideo option now provides “Through” and “Shuffle” options, so music video and cartoon collections can be played sequentially or randomly. This also really enhances the Jukebox mode so that the playback of preset collections is always different. Keeps the kids happy for hours!
cadbuscaParticipantAha..you were the one downloader..just fixed special characters display. ' will now display as a ‘
cadbuscaParticipantIts already added and available under the online icon and it plays full screen. Why don’t you just try it and see.
If you want more, my WIIMC+ has enhanced Youtube Exploring support and written documentation.cadbuscaParticipantPer the quick install guide :
“2. Copy the Release 1.2.6 appswiimc subdirectory to appswiimc-plus”
and the full documentation:
“The compiled wiimc+ boot.dol together with meta.xml and icon.png (which updates the homebrew icon for WIIMC+) must be copied to a new apps/wiimc-plus directory on the WII.”It can’t be more explicit. Enjoy.
cadbuscaParticipantYes, they work for the “internal music player playlist”, which is created when you select external playlists or files or directories, or with WIIMC+ even saved “internal music player playlists”. Just click + (or 2 with WIIMC+ option) on the files or the directory that you want to play then open the internal “music player playlist”, and select the mode or preset it in the music settings.

I chose to revert that change and add options allowing the user to disable or leave it active.
cadbuscaParticipantThe music player has 4 options ..single, continuous, shuffle and through…see WIIMC documentation.
cadbuscaParticipantNo captions with watch directly..only transcoded as per plug-in.
“closed caption support (only in transcoded way).”cadbuscaParticipantSeems the mainwall server is no longer available for loading youtube playlists. Your only alternative is to provide your own server running the WIIMC+ Enhanced YouTube+ Package scripts, one of which will get playlists. I’m looking at yours right now with about 80 entries starting with “50 Cent – God Gave Me Style”. and playing them thru consecutively using the WIIMC+ feature to “Autoplay Next Youtube”. You have already received the latest WIIMC+ distribution which gives you everything you need to do this.
