Uh. DLNA is just UPnP by another name.
I know…
But there are different “modes” of uPnP no ?
I have a FreeNAS server and in uPnP it makes me choose between different “profiles” that seem to be target hardware oriented. The default is “default” that may be targetting DLNA (I do not know) and the second choice is DLNA…Sorry to n00b 😕
dlcrookParticipantPersonaly I use the channel so I do not really care if it is on first or last page of the homebrew channel
dlcrookParticipantI agree 20 is a small limit, for example if you play videos clips… 20 is like around 1h of playback… 😕
Maybe you can retrieve the number of items in the folder and input that dynamically as limit 💡
And for our friend who watches a full season in a row, get a life !!! 😉
dlcrookParticipantHello,
I agree that a subtitle folder could be great, avoiding the subs to pollute the film folder (not while browsing on WiiMC of course since the subs are not listed) :ugeek:
I do not think a folder per film is a good thing, I have removed mine very recently since it is a hell to maintain 🙁This brings me to think of another improvement that could be done : display in the browser’s list when a sub is available for a video, maybe with an icon on the right or left of the file 💡
I’ll create a dedicated topic for that !!dlcrookParticipantHello,
Can’t say how much I love this soft…
I think it would also be great to have a similar “resume” function as the one for not finished videos (which I love by the way, especially since it can remember more than one video), for the file browsing.
For exemple, if I watch several series at the same time, I do not always remember the last episode I saw from one, if the browser showed me the last played that would be great. Thanks again !!!!!
