FimoParticipant
It’s WiiMC though, not MCWii 😛
Wiibrew has a “help” page about WiiMC: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/WiiMC
I don’t think it’d be really handy to have one in the app itself.FimoParticipantI’m guessing you mean you want it to display greek fonts correctly?
FimoParticipantHonestly, using DOP-Mii isn’t that bad at all. It’s quite simple to use if you know how it works and it has a lot of safety mechanisms to prevent your wii from bricking.
But, if you really want an all-in-one app, there are plenty of coders out there that could make one. I’m sure Tantric has other stuff to do 😉

It works fine, you must have a bad compile. Try doing a make clean.
It doesn’t work fine, it stops every time with this
linking … wiimc.elf
c:/devkitpro/devkitppc/bin/../lib/gcc/powerpc-eabi/4.4.3/../../../../powerpc-eab
i/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -lntfs
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [/h/Test/WiiMC/wiimc.elf] Error 1
make: *** [build] Error 2Did you properly compile all libs first?
FimoParticipantI hope you don’t mind to discuss stuff on the Forums in English, so we can follow too 😛
(There’s no rule that forbids it though 😉 )
FimoParticipantJust to make something clear here, if you leave the MSGSTR empty, it won’t translate the text. So if the text is the same as in english, better leave the MSGSTR empty, instead of repeating the MSGID 😉
FimoParticipantShould probably be moved to the Developments section, where the other translations are…
FimoParticipantActually I think it’s under GPL, meaning everyone is free to redistribute as long as you credit all the authors and give out the source. But they’re not gonna redistribute it anyway, they just want to know how to compile it to test their language files 😉
FimoParticipantOffline steps according to Wiibrew:
- Download IOS57 v5661 using NUSD.
- The folder that NUSD outputs will be named 0000000100000039v5661, copy the contents of that folder into SD:/IOS/0000000100000039v5661/
- Unzip the cIOS installer directly to your SD or USB.
- Launch the installer from the homebrew channel.
- Follow on-screen prompts.
FimoParticipantWiiMC is a seperate project from MPlayer_CE, so that’s probably why
There might be another reason, but what does it matter anyway 😉FimoParticipantDoes it really matter if the creators of WiiMC make a forwarder or someone else does? 😛
It’s not like the creators of WiiMC have nothing to do all day 😉Password protection could be good if it’s not there yet 🙂

Could you at least make a hidden way to enable them, via config for example? So not anybody can enable them via the menu.
Hidden or not doesn’t matter, you just use ISOs or you don’t 😛
And it’s easier to add it to the list of allowed formats than to make an option for itFimoParticipant@sico_pata wrote:
+1000 for MP3 play
If you mean you want it to play MP3, it already does
But you probably mean a screensaver for when it’s playing MP3 ? 😐FimoParticipantThe one in the download page uses Hermes v5 base 57
FimoParticipantUse DOP-Mii to install IOS34 without any patches
