I had the same problem. What seemingly fixed this for me was the installation of <>. It will automatically download and install the correct IOS’s. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you too. Link is to the newest version, 1.43. 😀
After installation, choose the top option – which is something like “pass the test and fix problems”. I recommend all WiiMC users download and install this program. It will keep your hacked wii up to date without endangering anyything.
