You’re right. It shouldn’t be directly tied to the Screen Saver being active then. It should be tied to the system actually being Idle.

    Thanks,

Maybe I’m interpreting it wrong but I don’t think what I’m asking for is exactly the sleep timer.

Say I set the sleep timer to 30 minutes, that turns off the wii after 30 minutes, regardless of whether a show is currently being watched or not. Is that right?

What I’d like to be able to do is to add an option to turn the wii off after 30 minutes of idle activity, not just a set 30 minutes from when I turned on the timer. For example, say the screen saver has been running for at least 30 minutes, which would indicate that the wii is probably not being used, go ahead and turn it off.

Is that what the sleep timer already does?

    Thanks,

Similar to this request, can you add an auto-shut off after X minutes of showing the screen saver? My roommates don’t turn off the wii after they are done using WiiMC so the screen saver just runs all night. It would be great if I could have WiiMC auto-turn off the wii after the screen saver has been running for 30 minutes.

    Thanks,
