so this morning i have made other test. and this time i can say you had completely reason , my mistake was here:
PATH=$DEVKITPPC/bin:$PATH

in fact i have remake everything to make attention in PATH=$DEVKITPPC/bin:$PATH
and i have compiled wiimc without strings.h in wiimc/source/mplayer.

than i have tried with your patch and also this ok ( svn903)

sorry but thre is something that i don t understand so i have made one more compilation. In this case i have deleted my old wiimc folder, than remake and download svn ( r907).
i havent edited nothing and i havent put the file strings.h inside wiimc/source/mplayer.
built wiimc by command make , but in this case i recive error strings.h no such file or directory

2°situation
in this case same situation like before but i have put the file strings.h inside wiimc/source/mplayer and i can compile succefully wiimc.

so, listen me, you are the expert and me completely noob, so my question is only to understand.

this time i have a problem with compilation of svn903.
normally before to compile wiimc+ i prefer to compile original wiimc svn to be sure that everything is ok.
So i m using your libogc ( sent with wiimc+ v7), update libz inside portlibs, i have put the file strings.h inside devkitPro/devkiPPC/power-eabi/include.
But when i try to compile i recive this error

for wiimc 1.1.3 for the problem of string.h i have edited the file so:
#ifndef GEKKO
#include
#endif

the files were: avidec.c, img2.c, metadata.c, metadata_compact.c, nutdec.c, utils.c inside wiimc/source/mplayer/ffmpeg/libavformat and

parseutils.c inside wiimc/source/mplayer/ffmpeg/libavcore

but with svn 903 source/mplayer/ffmpeg/libavcore has been deleted so i don t know what i have to do.

May you help me , please?

i haven’ t reported my error because these are my first experiences in compilation , so i m not so much good and i thought it was only a my mistake.
Today i have read the discussion and in effect my error was lmplayerwii.a with svn 842, but now i can confirm that i have compiled svn 843 without error.

i have tried svn 842 but compilation give me an error, while svn 838 ok.
i m triing to understand which is the problem with svn 842

also svn 841compilation without problem, now i wiil try to recompile svn 842 without patch to verify if i have the same error
