My video files used to have the same problem but now its just my audio files…This thing would be GREAT! if it was consistent. I know Im a whinger but I just want this good thing to work 🙂 DSo read this like you were having probs 🙂 And if you not please tell me how you are making it work s=alright.
    Cheers

Let me guess, you’re trying to view you music files in video mode, right? Just click the music icon in the top left bank of buttons to put it on music mode.
If you already did that, I’m sorry for insulting your intelligence, and I don’t know what the problem is.

If the file has a restore point active (enabled resume button),
on the right of the filename you can see the icon.

Hey thanks for the reply, I just figured it out last night. I have noticed that the check mark never seems to go away, I have to delete the restore point file to get them to go away. Is there something that can be done to mark the file as completely watched? I tried opening the video again and then skipping to a minute or so before the end and letting it play out, but the check mark is still there even after I reload the app or reboot the wii.

    any ideas?

Re-winding to the beginning and stopping there gets rid of it. But maybe it’s supposed to be there once you’ve watched it, so you know you’ve watched it.

If you’ve seen other people’s posts, why did you create a new thread?! Just post on their thread.

Good suggestions. So good that several people have already suggested them. You gotta search the forum before you create a thread.

I know, I was just explaining to other people what you want to do. But I’m sorry, I don’t know how to do it, I just know it’s possible.

Unless you have some weird priiloader hack to directly boot into WiiFlow,

I’ve been trying to figure out how to do that. Is it possible?

I’m pretty sure priiloader has the option to load a .dol file on startup. So some people like running everything from WiiFlow (it is possible to pack a forwarder into an iso on a WBFS drive).

This is coming in the next release (5 and 10 secs).

Use search in this very forum!

Why don’t you look at when I posted this thread, and when it was confirmed for the next version? You’ll see that this thread is in fact linked to in the thread it was confirmed in, before it was confirmed (if the thread you mean is this: http://www.wiimc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=354&start=0 ).

I forget – how does the Wiimote & sensor bar work? The sensor bar is sending the signal, or the wiimote?

Basically, the Wiimote is a simple infra-red camera and the sensor bar is simply two spots of infra-red light. If your Wiimote sees two other spots of infra-red light it thinks it’s the sensor bar. I have problems like this all the time because my TV is right next to a big window. But as long as I close the curtain properly every thing’s fine.

Don’t worry, I’m not saying you were wrong, it was just funny that in my thread you just repeated back to me what I already knew.

Turning off the wii from the wiimote while in WiiMc doesnt seem to turn the wii off all the way, the yellow standby light comes on as normal, but the disc drive continues to spin at high speed. any fix besides taking out the disc or doing a hard shut off on the wii everytime?

Have you just installed Preloader? Because that’s the only thing that causes this that I know of. Does it always do this with any disc, or only when shutting down from WiiMC? I get this with all discs because of Preloader, and I just take the disc out.

You can select the time for this function, but is fixed time (multiple of 30 seconds).

Thanks, I already knew that. My point was that’s too long for me. It was just a suggestion though.

I read right through that thread and it didn’t seem to me like it was the same issue, because the program runs ok when pressing the home button. It’s only when the bubble with “settings” written in it pops up that it crashes. But it only did this in folders with lots of long named files in it. So you’re right, thanks. Sorry.
Although it might be worth mentioning in that thread too, so I will do so. Unless you think it’s irrelevant?
