Hi there! We did indeed receive your donation. My apologies on not contacting you – I missed the notification email. I’ve added your name to the donors list – if you’d prefer not to be listed, please let me know.
Thank you very much, the donation is very much appreciated.
rodriesKeymasterYou’re in luck. I have a Synology as well so I’ve fixed this bug. I just haven’t released the fix yet. I’ll try to get to that today.
rodriesKeymasterIt’s already 0-200%. All the way up is actually 200%.
rodriesKeymasterUnfortunately I’m staying pretty swamped with other things (eg: work). Perhaps jhb50 can post the details of what needs to be coded and someone here can code it.
rodriesKeymasterYou can edit the onlinemedia.xml file to remove Navi-X, or delete it to remove online content completely.
rodriesKeymasterRemember that WiiMC and MPlayer CE also have different audio/video handling and synchronization. And the ports aren’t identical. Another key factor (probably the biggest) is the memory usage. The Wii has two memory chips – MEM1 and MEM2. MEM2 is bigger but it’s also slower. So the more important routines that you can put in MEM1, the better the performance you’ll get. As MPlayer CE has a much smaller memory footprint (eg: no GUI, no picture viewer, etc) it’s easier to do this. rodries had been working on improving the performance but those changes haven’t been released – perhaps he never found the time to fully finish it.
rodriesKeymasterIf you want better video quality, go pick up a component cable. The difference is quite significant.
rodriesKeymasterAre you using a component video cable? If not, that’s your problem.
rodriesKeymasterRun the XML file through an online validator tool and you’ll find that & is not a valid character for XML attributes – you need to escape it. Replace the & with & and you’ll be good to go.
rodriesKeymasterI’ve already uploaded a new installer that works with the new wiimotes.
rodriesKeymasterIf you upgrade priiloader to the latest beta, the message will go away.
rodriesKeymasterThe channel is just a channel and not WiiMC itself. You need to copy WiiMC onto an SD card or USB stick and then when you load the channel, it would load it from there.
rodriesKeymasterWhile I appreciate your interest in the project and your contribution, I think we’ll still with the existing logo. I like it just the way it is.
rodriesKeymasterWell we can hope it’s fixed now…
rodriesKeymasterI’ve heard back from the hoster and it sounds like the problems should be gone now. Let’s cross our fingers! 😀
