Follow the instructions. Basically, make a new issue and post a small sample on the Tracker.
rodriesKeymasterHold on, there’s different reasons for crashes. If you’re getting into the app before it crashes (for any period of time)! it’s not related to restore_points. It’s likely the “no_ios_reload” bug in HBC – if you don’t have your Wii internet-enabled, try removing the line from the meta.xml for WiiMC.
You don’t need to create a restore_points file. You should be able to delete the file, WiiMC will create a new one itself automatically.
rodriesKeymasterNo, it’s not valid. WiiMC already supports xvid/divx on DVD.
rodriesKeymasterShuffle / loop / etc work fine. Perhaps you don’t know how to use them?
rodriesKeymasterNew string:
msgid "Invalid subtitle delay."
msgstr ""
rodriesKeymasterYou’re not a noob, I didn’t even know restore_points could crash the app! 😯
rodriesKeymasterThat restore points code is actually a WiiMC addition to mplayer, it’s not present upstream. Rather than forcing a limit of 50 or asking the user what they would like the limit to be, that code should be rewritten to remove the limitation (make the list dynamic). This is an example of “WiiMC+” taking the wrong approach to solve a problem.
rodriesKeymasterThis is very unhelpful. We can’t even begin to look at something like this without a proper bug report with a video sample.
rodriesKeymasterI think I’ve already found the bug, but this will give me lots of time to test the fix! 😀
rodriesKeymasterSounds like a bug! Too bad you reported it 30 minutes after I put out a new release. 😕
rodriesKeymasterThe scripts must run on a web server, and I think the majority of WiiMC users won’t want to run their own web server for this purpose. And no, the source for the scripts will not be made available.
rodriesKeymasterThey sent an email saying scripts of this nature are against their policy. Until we find a new (and permanent) host you’re out of luck.
rodriesKeymasterWiiMC’s web host just blocked YouTube and Shoutcast support (which are hosted on wiimc.org) so that’s why it doesn’t work.
rodriesKeymasterI’ve done some work to add RTSP/RTMP to WiiMC, but hit a roadblock because the network implementation of libogc is incomplete. Unless/until it is completed, you won’t see rtsp/rtmp/rtp support in WiiMC.
rodriesKeymasterSetting sharing or security to “Everyone” isn’t the best idea. Someone really should write a guide on this, it’s too bad no-one has – the same questions keep coming up. 🙁
