Your file needs to be valid XML. Running it through this site: http://www.xmlvalidation.com
Produces 3 errors, on these lines:
rodriesKeymasterShorten the translation. Remember that it doesn’t have to be an exact translation, it just has to convey a similar meaning.
rodriesKeymasterIt overwrote your file as per the changelog:
New SHOUTcast support (WARNING: updating will overwrite your onlinemedia.xml to install new links – backup your old links if necessary)
I’d like to say this is a one-time thing, but it’ll happen at least once more to install YouTube links.
rodriesKeymasterKnown issue. Wait for a fix.
Thread Closed.
rodriesKeymasterThey are over 1024 in width. This is a bug in the code that will be fixed with the next version, but note if they are over 720p (1280×720) you will get an error message telling you the video can’t be played.
rodriesKeymasterThat’s right, I don’t intend to change it often. But as 1.0.6 added new ShoutCAST links I overwrote your existing file.
Same thing will happen again with the next release, which adds YouTube links. I know it’s an inconvenience but I don’t intend to do it after that.
BTW this was noted in the changelog on the website.
New SHOUTcast support (WARNING: updating will overwrite your onlinemedia.xml to install new links – backup your old links if necessary)
rodriesKeymasterNew strings, please translate:
msgid "Error loading YouTube file!"
msgstr ""
msgid "Rotate"
msgstr ""
msgid "Resolution exceeds maximum allowed (1280x720)!"
msgstr ""
rodriesKeymasterThe down arrow switches audio track, up arrow switches subtitles.
rodriesKeymasterThis is not a simple thing to do. I don’t know when/if you might see such a feature.
rodriesKeymasterThat would be an issue upstream – nothing we can do about it.
rodriesKeymasterIt’s probably just polling the HD to check if it’s still connected (harmless).
rodriesKeymasterThis is a known issue, it’s related to the changes in SMB to add UTF8 support.
Note that “known issue” doesn’t mean we know how to fix it.

my movie files play, they just randomly stop or freeze using wiimc. and no they are not all the same format, and i do understand how a movie file works. it doesn’t not matter if it’s .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, whatever. they all do it, yet i have no problems playing them on my computer. it’s not the movies, it’s the player. for what purpose should i analayze the movie files when i could play any compatible file and have the same outcome of random freezing/stopping.
Yeah but just bitching that things don’t work is totally unhelpful.
rodriesKeymasterThe code already makes it impossible for a song to play twice in a row, beyond that it’s just random at the moment.
rodriesKeymasterRejected.
