It means just what it says, on the surface at least. It found your SD card, then tried to change to the directory apps/wiimc, and failed. The simplest explanation would be if that directory didn’t exist. Another could be the card filesystem is corrupt – run chkdsk. Otherwise, I’m not sure.

this is already mostly possible. you can navigate the areas with 1/2, the pad, and A/B. And buy a new sensor bar, don’t be cheap.

Well, I wouldn’t want to disappoint, so I will carry out the ban as requested. 😀

Huh? That’s basically how it works. Find the folder, press +, then press Play. Done. No fuss.

You never know until after it’s been done!

I can’t quite fathom this. If someone really wants to know your password they can also find it in plaintext in the settings.xml file.

Hmm. It might be possible but keep in mind WiiMC isn’t intended to be a full-fledged image viewer. It’s a media player first and foremost. Don’t count on this happening anytime soon, if ever.

Also your remote turns off after 60 secs of inactivity.

I don’t have a crystal ball either. Usually pista is right about what will and won’t be done in the near future though.

I’ve added a greater range of seek times in the config:

    5, 15, 30, 60, 180, 300, 600, 1200 sec

+ adds to playlist when in the Music area. Unless you have a better suggestion for the mapping?

LOL!! I think I know the problem… I don’t think WiiMC supports “thumbs” yet either. The point I’m trying to make is WiiMC doesn’t support anything other than Name and URL… that’s it. I would have thought Turner removed this if this was an issue, but I don’t know for certain. My hands are full as hell right now.

Your picture looks good, but remove the thumb after getting that URL and try again. This should work. If not, does your WiiMC play YouTube video’s you download and put on a memory medium for transferring to WiiMC?? It’s supposed to play swf for sure.

Thumbs may not be displayed, but if they’re specified, they won’t harm anything either.

So wait, I’m supposed to spend half my waking hours coding WiiMC, and the other half answering questions about it? At the moment there are only two WiiMC devs. Two. And we’re busy people with lives just like you. The idea behind creating the forum wasn’t to make a place for “Team WiiMC” to run around helping people, it was to create a place for users to help each other. As as mentioned by ironbill, this is an extremely new project. It takes time to iron out the bugs, establish a userbase, develop documentation, user guides, and tutorials. Just don’t expect two people to do it all (especially right away). At this point it’s been thrown out there and I expect it to be a community effort.

Right now it’s limited to the one port due to incompatibilities with the USB LAN ethernet adapter.
