You can’t use both at once.
rodriesKeymasterWhat problems did you have?
I thought http://www.wiimc.org/compiling-instructions/ was pretty clear, and the dependent libraries are either posted on SVN or devkitPro.

Works great for me, USB LAN to Windows Server 2008 R2. Never any problems.
rodriesKeymasterSAMBA + WiiMC will work, but AD (or domains!) aren’t supported. Here’s what is:
NTLM v1 authentication over port 445 (ie: no NETBIOS)
rodriesKeymasterSince Mac OS X is UNIX-based, if you know your way around the command line it shouldn’t be too hard to stumble through based on the Linux instructions using the Terminal.
Basically, install all of the prerequisites like PHP, Zend, FFMpeg, etc. and then configure everything.
it’s not going to be easy for novice users…
October 25, 2011 at 9:15 pm in reply to: Crash dumps since the last update – Sample file included #29477rodriesKeymasterI have no idea since this doesn’t happen to me. You’re out of luck, at least from my side.
rodriesKeymasterHave you considered the memory requirements of doing that?
rodriesKeymasterYou probably need to change the codepage.
rodriesKeymasterDid you copy the WiiMC files to /apps/wiimc on your USB? It needs to be there. The channel looks for those files and loads them.
rodriesKeymasterYes, it’s purposefully disabled over SMB because playback is too slow.
rodriesKeymasterThe problem here isn’t your wifi, it’s the increased resolution of those larger files. The Wii just can’t handle them.
rodriesKeymasterNote that Shoutcast/YouTube support is hosted on wiimc.org. So if the website is down, so will be Shoutcast/YouTube. So perhaps that’s what happened.
rodriesKeymasterI don’t see how the IOS is related to SHOUTcast problems…
September 30, 2011 at 3:22 am in reply to: Crash dumps since the last update – Sample file included #29464rodriesKeymasterCould you give this new channel a try and let me know if it helps?
rodriesKeymasterSupport to FF/RW has been disabled on YouTube/Navi-X because on some streams it works fine, and some it doesn’t. So, you’re out of luck.
